We are a winery that has been run the vineyards according to the Biodynamic and Organic principals since 1998. Since 2004 we have been part of the Albada Jelgersma family wich also owns a historic winery in Bordeaux - Margaux, Chateau Giscours.
We extend for about 110 hectares, of which 40 are planted with vines, divided into 59 parcels, interpreted by 10 varieties. The mosaic of vineyards has been tailored according to differences in soil, altitude and exposure. The other hectaresare covered by Mediterranean scrub and about 500 olive trees.

The winery has been built by taking inspiration from the principles of Feng Shui to identify the shape and exposure and the choice of materials and colours. The structure develops on four levels and allows for gravity-driven winemaking by exploiting the force of gravity. The large windows on the sides of the building and the yellow walls ensure a space where light, a natural source of positive energy, can be enjoyed from dawn to dusk. Other secrets are hidden in the barrique cellar: red walls create a connection with the earth and chimneys connected to the outside ensure natural ventilation. Since 2016, our cellar has been part of the Toscana Wine Architecture project, which links 14 Tuscan wineries selected for their architectural features.
