Wine-growing region:
Toscana

The De Ferrari Corradi family has been dedicating its efforts to quality viticulture and winemaking for the past 60 years. Today Paola, together with the third generation, Luca and Nicolò, bring the same passion to wine production, working to infuse each bottle with the aromas and flavors that the founder, Grandpa Egidio, loved and searched for.
Boscarelli is located in an historical area for production of Vino Nobile DOCG. At 300 m asl on the east side of the appellation and northeast of Montepulciano, facing the Chiana Valley, Cervognano has the ideal natural air circulation and temperatures to provide an optimal microclimate for quality viticulture. It's alluvial soils, rich in texture and sand, have good drainage and give considerable character and minerality to the grapes, helping confer the elegance for which our wines are known.

2025 Prugnolo

Rosso di Montepulciano DOC
Sangiovese - Mammolo
Red wine

Prugnolo enhances the freshness of the fruity notes of Sangiovese, combined with the spicy character of the Mammolo variety. A pleasant wine, very fragrant and never banal. Produced since 1989 as a Rosso di Montepulciano, the wine has worn the current label since 2003. The average annual production is 40000 bottles. The grapes are selected from the younger vines of different parcels that are rich in in aromas with less structure as we seek freshness, fragrance and drinkability. Its composition is Sangiovese Prugnolo Gentile with a little percentage of Mammolo.

2023 Vino Nobile di Montepulciano

Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG
Sangiovese - Canaiolo
Red wine

This is our historical label of Vino Nobile and the most representative of our work philosophy. Since its first vintage in 1968, it has continued to represent almost half of our total production. Its composition and ageing method have remained largely unchanged and today we produce about 50,000 bottles per year of this label. Our Vino Nobile combines freshness, elegance, complexity and great ageing potential.Vino Nobile is produced with selected grapes from vineyards at least 10 years of age. The blend is Sangiovese Prugnolo Gentile with a little percentage of Canaiolo.

2022 Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva

Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG Riserva
Sangiovese - Colorino
Red wine

We returned to produce this wine in vintage 2010, after almost 20 years since the Riserva was last released, in 1991, as we waited for perfect ripeness of our historical vineyards, that were replanted at the end of the 80’s. Clones from massal selections and the maturity of the vines give us grapes with complexity and elegant structure, that express themselves in intense and delightful wines. This wine is produced with selected grapes from vineyards at least 20 years of age. Vino Nobile Riserva is made from Sangiovese Prugnolo Gentile grapes and a little percentage of Colorino.

2021 Sotto Casa

Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG Riserva
Sangiovese - Cabernet Sauvignon - Merlot
Red wine

The “Sotto Casa” Riserva has been produced since vintage 2011 and it’s the natural development of our Vino Nobile Riserva "black label”, with the idea of harmonizing the elegance, character and freshness of Sangiovese, with the tannic texture, the structure and the fullness of two international varieties like Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. This Vino Nobile is a cru, so the grapes come only from our historical vineyard “Sotto Casa”.The blend composition of the Riserva is Sangiovese and little percentages of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The grapes are selected and harvested in order to maximize the features of each variety.
