Görbe is a south-facing slope located at 180–200 meters above sea level, in the village of Tállya— about 20 minutes northwest of central Tokaj. The vineyard is planted with old vines, the youngest dating from the 1970s and the oldest over 100 years old. The soils are composed of volcanic rhyolite tuff and rhyolite, with variations formed by post-volcanic activity, including silicified tuff.
