Kristinus Wine Estate is located in Kéthely on the southern shore of Lake Balaton, Hungary and has been producing Demeter quality wines.
We cultivate healthy grapes in a biodynamic and sustainable way, from which we make unique, individual wines. Our goal is to step back: to influence nature’s raw materials as little as possible.
Since 2018 the estate has been managed biodynamically and has embraced a holistic approach to viticulture, prioritising minimal intervention and ecological harmony.

Early September harvest. Varieties were processed and fermented individually. Olaszrizling was partially on the mash, partially on whole bunch for 5-7 days in amphora. bunch for 5-7 days in amphorae. Certification: Destemmed Sauvignon B was soaking on whole berries in clay for a few days. Batches were kept on the fine lees for 10 months.

100% Furmint from our monopoly vineyard, Vereb Domb (Sparrow Hill). One amphora was made with 5% whole bunch, directly pressed. Two amphora underwent 2 days of skin contact before pressing. After pressing, the wine was aged for 18 months in amphora.
