Refined and multi-layered. A rich yet complex body is masterfully balanced by a distinctive structure. The subtle carbonation interwoven with the wine ensures the finest mousse. Hints of yellow apple and freshly baked bread, delicately mineral. A sparkling wine with great personality, masterfully vinified.

Dr. Bürklin-Wolf Riesling trocken from the Estate’s own sandstone vineyards on the foothills of the Northern Vosges. On these slopes, our vines enjoy an almost mediterranean microclimate and an excellent supply of minerals and water.

Our Wachenheim Riesling Village originates from classified P.C. vineyards Böhlig, Altenburg, Gerümpel, Rechbächel, and Goldbächel. Limestone, clay, sandstone, and loess are the geological basis for creating a complex and elegant wine that encompasses the uniqueness of Wachenheim vineyards. Microclimates are constantly regulated thanks to the cool evening breezes sweeping from the Palatinate Forest, ensuring optimal ripening potential.

Goldbächel is a very special wine that is sure to excite. With a total surface area of this southfacing vineyard is 4.3 ha, of which 3 ha belongs to Dr. Bürklin-Wolf. Similar to its neighboring vineyard, Rechbächel, Goldbächel enjoys the benefits from the thick alluvial stone. With access to ample amounts of water and nutrients, the vines of Goldbächel rarely endure drought and can therefore focus on producing beautifully ripe grapes.
