Our family has been established in Rust for generations, as craftsmen and smallholders. So we feel a sense of responsibility towards our ancestors as well as to our soils. Respect for nature minimal uso of chemicals, no herbicides, no artificial fertilisers, no irrigation. Healthy soils, grazing sheep, singing birds, living vines, top quality grapes, meticulous hand picking, gentle maceration, careful winemaking, wines full of character.
In the interests of conserving resources, we have every intention of continuing to work in the
future according to these simple principles.
Rust
Gelber Muskateller
White wine
an aromatic drumbeat of elderflower; flanked with balm, passion fruit and lemon verbena; explosive, though nimble and enchanting with a fine, variety-typical acidity
Rust
Chardonnay
White wine
Biodinamic
unfiltered – a sparkling reflection of biodiversity in our vineyards with clear tones of ripe, yellow fruits, chamomile,
grapefruit, and a hint of ore; a pleasantly melting aftertaste with a delicate touch of Fleur de Sel
Rust
Welschriesling
White wine
unfiltered – a glimpse of lime wood in the spring, camomile and fresh-fruity melon as well as pineapple float into the nose accompined by a crispy mineralic; twinkling - light - imaginative - mischievously
Rust
Blaufränkisch
Red wine
unfiltered – an elfin dance of sour cherry, blackberry, hibiscus, blackcurrant, and marzipan; it presents itself in its most flattering light with lively, vibrating emphasis
Rust
Blaufränkisch
Red wine
unfiltered – an abundance of aromas originating from our hedges and orchards; blackberry, black cherry, juniper, barberry, and bitter almond on calcareous soil; young and taut in every fiber, it builds a distinctive structure on the palate
Rust
Blaufränkisch
Red wine
unfiltered – the royal foundation among Blaufränkisch; balanced, honest, and demanding, it raises the ruby-red scepter over
its profound aromatic profile; sour cherry, sloe, eucalyptus, yarrow, ivy, and cinnamon-bitter chocolate nestled on silky autumn leaves; the reverberation appears gripping, lively, and eternal
