At Weingut am Stein our aspiration is to create individual, terroir embossed wines that capture the essence of the vintner’s passion within them. We practice biodynamic, sustainable farming in our vineyards; this way, the quality of the grapes always grows in harmony with nature. We work cumbersomely on steep slopes to revitalize old, exposed parcels and fertilize the ancient vine stocks. We keep our focus geared towards the eco-system and the terroir; both key elements for authentic, lively organic farming. Deeply entrenched in our Franconian DNA is of course the Silvaner variety, which we meticulously cultivate in our vineyards as well as lovingly try to bring out its best expressions in our cellar.
