Claire and Gonzague Lurton come from the third and fourth generations respectively of two of the great wine families of the Bordeaux region, the Merlauts and the Lurtons.In 1992 and 1993, they took over the reins of their respective family estates and now own five châteaux, including three grands crus classés: Chateau Durfort Vivens, Ferrière and Haut-Bages Liberal. But also Château La Gurgue in Margaux and Acaibo, in Sonoma, California
In 2007, Gonzague and Claire converted their Bordeaux estates to biodynamic and agro-ecological methods, and now have the largest biodynamic vineyard in Bordeaux.

Located in the south of Pauillac in front of Château Latour and close to the river, the vineyard benefit from a special microclimate. Since 2007, the vineyard is farmed with agroecology methods. Outstanding vintage for the winery. The wine is very dense and fine ate the same time. Pure expression of fruit. Ageing in 80% of oak (40% of new oak) and 20% of amphorae during 16 months.
