We are the oldest family owned winery dating back to the year 1150. Today, the 32nd
Generation in the family, Felix Prince zu Salm-Salm, is leading the estate. He studied
winemaking in Geisenheim and is held responsible for the wines since 2007. Since 2015 his wife Victoria has joined him at the estate concentrating on sales and marketing.
We rely on God and upon nature in order to make these magnificant wines. The quality is
made in the vineyards. Knowing this is the foundation of our success.
Riesling is our main focus which brings forth 2/3 of our yearly production. We have unique
soils like green and red slate which bring forth unique wines.
