Villa Santo Stefano is a certified organic boutique winery in the hills north of Lucca in Tuscany. Our work follows the quiet rhythm of nature and the ambition to create wines that reflect origin, care and character.
Founded in 2001, when Wolfgang Reitzle and Nina Ruge took over the historic Villa Bertolli, the estate grew from their deep connection to the region and their wish to bring new life to this place. The villa was restored with great sensitivity and today forms both the heart and foundation of our work.
At the center are LOTO, our elegant red blend with structure and inner balance, and NINA, a pure Cabernet Franc defined by clarity and expression. SERENO and LUNA capture the fine interplay of warmth, freshness and precision, while GIOIA embodies Mediterranean lightness.
Our wines express respect for the land, trust in natural processes and the belief that quality arises naturally. For us, “organic” is not a label, but a way of working and living.
