Villa Santo Stefano is a family-run, certified organic boutique winery in the hills north of Lucca, Tuscany.
Our vineyards extend across five distinct microclimates shaped by altitude, exposure and constant air circulation between the Apuan Alps and the Tyrrhenian Sea. Each parcel is cultivated and harvested separately to preserve its individual structure and ripening profile. We work with low yields and strict multi-stage hand selection. Only fruit that meets our exact standards enters production. In the cellar, every lot is vinified individually using temperature-controlled fermentation and continuous analytical monitoring. Modern technology enables accuracy at every step, from harvest to final blend. The result is clarity, structure and definition without excess.

GIOIA is our white wine made from 100% Vermentino — a grape variety that has been native to the Tuscan coasts for centuries and develops its finest expressiveness here. In the glass and in the nose, GIOIA presents itself with bright fruit and a fine, mineral freshness — typical of our terroir. The approximately 3,000 vines are located in a protected vineyard very close to the estate, ideally oriented to the sun and only about 20 kilometers from the Tyrrhenian Sea. VOLO is our young, fresh red wine — born in 2019 and inspired by the ease of a new start.
