Wine-growing region:
Piemonte

Tenute Cisa Asinari dei Marchesi di Grésy have been property of the di Grésy family since 1797. In 1973 Alberto di Grésy started to produce his own wine: the goal was to produce wines with the best available technology while respecting tradition, and to transfer as much as possible the character and personality of the vineyard site and the variety into the bottle. Since 2013 Alessandro and Ludovica have been running the family business together with their father. Tenute Cisa Asinari dei Marchesi di Grésy, made up of four estates located in the Langhe and Monferrato hills, are known for producing some of the greatest wines in Piedmont region. Martinenga estate, located in the Langhe area near Alba, grows primarily Nebbiolo grapes for the production of Barbaresco DOCG, as well as Barbera and Cabernet Sauvignon. In addition, vineyards of Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay have been planted here. Nearby, in the village of Treiso is located the Monte Aribaldo estate where Dolcetto d'Alba is grown along with Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. In the village
of Cassine in the Monferrato area, La Serra and Monte Colombo estates produce Moscato d'Asti DOCG, Barbera d'Asti DOCG and Monferrato Rosso DOC (100% Merlot).
