Poggio Cagnano is a small organic farm in Maremma.
We grow 4 hectares of vines at 500 meters a.s.l. on a hill about 20 km from the cost of the Argentario sea.
Soil composition is mostly Sandstone (Arenaria) and galestro(Shale) with a texture that is mostly sand (75%).
We grow mainly local varieties as Vermentino, Ansonica, Alicante e Sangiovese.
