Red wine
The Ried Schwemmer is a gently sloping, east-facing vineyard, slightly warmer than Ried Kirchberg due to extended morning sun exposure. The youngest vines were planted in the 1970s, while the oldest date back to the 1930s. The subsoil is rich in calcareous sand, with varying pockets of heavy clay, loam, and sand in the topsoil, contributing to the wine’s power, tannic structure, and fullness.
